On October 28 AFCON held its annual meeting at the University of Nebraska Student Union. The main attraction was the reading performance of Nebraska playwright David Wiltse’s play Sedition. This is the first play of Angel Theatre Company’s Salon Reading Series of 2017-2018 and it is about coming to terms with the University of Nebraska’s decision in 1918 to put more than twelve professors on trial for disagreeing with President Wilson’s decision to go to war. |
