2012 PSA Contest Winners
The 2012 PSA contest for Nebraska high school students was sponsored by the Academic Freedom Coalition of Nebraska (AFCON) and ACLU Nebraska Foundation.
First place went to Ceara Kirkpatrick, a sophomore at Skutt Catholic High School, for her video, “The First Amendment: I Have the Right.” Her video addressed the importance of the First Amendment and how different life would be without it. She received $300.

Second place went to Joseph Kleier and Rose Vesely, sophomores at Palmer Public Schools, for their video, “Discussing Teenage Pregnancy in Class.” Their video dealt with freedom of belief and expression in the classroom. They received $250.
